This Forum will be the second edition, following the inaugural Investors Forum held in Brussels in January 2024. The first Forum brought together governments, IFIs, and the private sector around a shared vision for connectivity, and a EUR 10 billion pledge to support the development of the TCTC was announced. 

Building on the outcomes of the first Investors Forum in Brussels, and on the series of activities under the TCTC Coordination Platform — including country-specific workshops, private sector roundtables, and follow-up technical discussions — the Tashkent Forum will pursue three objectives:

• To take stock of progress made since the first Investors Forum in Brussels in January 2024 - including the activities of the TCTC Coordination Platform - and to show how the pledge is being translated into concrete projects.

• To strengthen cross-regional connectivity by presenting the Connectivity Agenda outlined in the Black Sea Strategy and a study that has been launched to identify priority investments spanning the two sides of the Caspian sea.

• To enhance strategic engagement with the private sector, ensuring that companies and investors are not just participants, but active partners in shaping and financing corridor development.
